Plenary Session 2: Biofuel Supply Chain in EU and India |

This session will discuss the development of offtake infrastructure built in Europe and how is India developing the mechanisms. European and International examples of supply chain organization will be shared, and India’s status of supply chain will be discussed, along with suggestions for enhancing, best practices and collaboration opportunities between EU and India. The session would also discuss the new emerging technologies in the biofuel production (bioethanol, biodiesel, SAF, etc.), the progress in the commercialization of these technologies, and the challenges therein. The focus would also be on feedstock requirement and solutions to manage crop residues and bio products. Industry expectations through government policy support for commercialization of advanced biofuel technologies and the role of various stakeholders in Financing, Storage, Transport and Handling. |
