Global Business Inroads (GBI) is collaborating with the Malaysian Global Innovation & Creativity Centre (MaGIC) to support Malaysian startups with access to the Indian market through their virtual Global Market-Fit Programme (GMP). This program aims to assist Malaysian startups in navigating the common obstacles when expanding to other countries, by collaborating with partners to establish bilateral launch pads to expedite the global expansion of Malaysian startups. It will provide an overview of the India ecosystem and a detailed market access opportunity by virtually visiting India. 

As a multicultural country with a population of 30 million mobile internet users, Malaysia is geographically and culturally strategic for startups from all over the world to set up in Malaysia as a gateway into the ASEAN market. Malaysia focuses on 5 immediate key sectors; Medical Technology, Smart Engineering & Manufacturing, Agriculture & Forestry, Education, and Travel & Tourism. Other prioritised verticals also include Energy, Smart Cities & Transportation, Water & Food, Environment & Biodiversity.
