❖Market Research and Business Development in India
❖Identified and managed discussions with potential partners, utilities/State Electricity Board(SEBs), investors, national and state governments and Indian EPC contractors, research organizations for project opportunities.
❖GBI had scheduled a visit for Highview Power representatives to meet with government agencies and organizations that had expressed interest in having a discussion. This trip was planned for 4-5 days in India and included meetings with corporates, national government agencies such as Powergrid, MNRE, CEA, CERC and the Ministry of Power and potential project proponents in India. During this visit, Highview and GBI presented the technology with its benefits, tentative costing for pilot/demonstration plant based on Indian scenario and proposed a market structure for Indian utilities so as to have an in depth discussion and identify potential project opportunities.
❖Market Development /follow-up with interested utilities and corporate groups to identify a strategic market structure and economically viable business model for implementing first of its kind pilot/demonstration plant within India
❖Project coordination, representation and management in India.
